Our hotel sustainability program
Our hotel is committed to sustainability and the environment, and we have implemented a number of measures to help reduce our ecological footprint. Through energy and water conservation, waste management, sustainable dining practices and the e-invoicing system introduced this year, we are not only providing our guests with comfort and high quality services, but also strengthening our environmental awareness.
Saving energy and water
Energy efficiency is a priority in our hotel operations. Using state-of-the-art SAUTER Vision Center building management software, we optimise energy and heat consumption, ensuring that heating and cooling in all rooms is efficient. Our automatic lighting control automatically turns off lighting in common areas and rooms when it's not needed. We have also installed water-saving taps that significantly reduce water use. We provide filtered water for our guests to promote sustainable water consumption and reduce plastic waste at the same time.
Waste management and recycling
In order to ensure environmentally responsible waste management, our hotel collects plastic, paper and other materials separately. We also encourage our guests to support our efforts by displaying pictograms in the hotel rooms to inform them about the possibility to reuse towels. This not only reduces the number of washings and water consumption, but also saves a lot of energy.
Sustainable eating practices![]()
Our breakfast buffet table is refilled only when food is gone, to minimise food waste. When preparing meals, we use a dishwasher instead of hand washing, which saves not only water but also energy. We stock up more often and in smaller quantities to ensure freshness of ingredients and avoid unnecessary food waste.
Inventory management and logistics
To optimise our inventory management, we use ONIR software, which allows us to accurately track the materials we use. This ensures that all products are available in the best quality and in the right quantity, while reducing the amount of wasted materials.
Digital switchover and reducing paper consumption
In 2024, we introduced an e-invoice system, which effectively reduces the use of paper as invoices are produced in digital format only. This innovation is not only environmentally friendly, but also ensures faster and simpler administration. With the introduction of e-invoicing, we have taken a significant step towards a future where our operations become even more sustainable.
All these measures contribute to making our hotel not only a synonym for comfort and hospitality, but also an example of environmentally responsible operation.
